Who this covers
HELYI Creative is a trading name of Art on Computers Ltd, a UK graphic design business run by Louis Lantos. This policy explains what personal data is collected through helyi.co and how it's used.
What's collected
For anonymous traffic measurement, this site runs Google Analytics 4 (GA4). When you visit, the GA4 tag sends anonymised, aggregated usage data (pages viewed, referrer, approximate location, device/browser type) to Google. IP addresses are anonymised before storage. This data is used only to understand which pages are useful and how people find the site — it isn't used for advertising, remarketing, or cross-site tracking.
GA4 sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to recognise returning visitors. You can block these in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics everywhere via the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Beyond that analytics data, the only personal data collected is what you choose to give when you:
- Email lou@helyi.co — your email address and whatever you write in the message.
- Book a job via the booking page or the contact page — the form sends your details (name, company, industry, service, start date, brief) to lou@helyi.co via Web3Forms, a third-party form-relay service that forwards submissions by email and doesn't store them beyond that.
How it's used
Data you send is used only to reply to your enquiry, scope a project, and deliver the work you've booked. It isn't sold, shared with third parties for marketing, or used for anything beyond running the job you've asked for.
How long it's kept
Enquiry and project emails are kept as long as needed for accounting, invoicing, and warranty purposes on delivered work — typically up to 6 years, in line with UK tax record-keeping requirements. You can ask for earlier deletion at any time; see below.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal data held about you. To do so, email lou@helyi.co. If you're unhappy with how a request is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Server logs
The hosting server logs standard technical data (IP address, page requested, timestamp) for security and performance monitoring, in line with normal web server operation. These logs aren't used for tracking or profiling individual visitors.
